The I.W.M. series is specifically designed and developed for potable water systems. With a total capacity of 24 liters, both the tank liner and rubber diaphragm comply with drinking water standards. The tank features a pre-pressurized bladder structure where water is directly stored within the vessel. The rubber diaphragm utilizes drinking water-grade butyl rubber, completely free of reclaimed rubber materials. Prior to installation, please adjust the pre-charged pressure by supplementing or releasing air according to the actual operational requirements of the system.

Application Areas:

A closed expansion tank (also known as a diaphragm tank, pressure tank, water supply pressure tank, etc.) is a pressure vessel with a bladder type rubber diaphragm inside the tank body, used in water supply systems.
Protect the water pump from frequent opening, thereby extending its service life.
If water hammer occurs in the system, effective buffering measures should be taken.
When the power supply is turned off, the expansion tank is used to supply water and stabilize the system pressure.

Design advantages:

1. Drawing on the fiber-reinforced materials of ultra-high pressure vessels such as hydrogen storage tanks and liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, the same integrated molding process is adopted.


2. Thanks to the hydrophobicity of the lining material inside the tank and its compliance with direct drinking water standards, the structure is designed with pre filled pressure inside the bag and directly filled with water inside the tank.

 

Advantages of carbon steel versus stainless steel:

1. Although the surface of carbon steel and stainless steel tanks has been painted and polished, the interior of the tanks has not been treated. There is a risk of corrosion leading to leakage of the tank in a humid environment;IWM tanks are of integral construction and there are no solder joints that damage the tank. The inner lining of the water tank is PE, which meets the standard of direct drinking water and will not rust.

2. Generally, the rubber diaphragm of tank manufacturers is purchased from outside, so it is difficult to control the rationality of rubber quality and size matching; water has been immersed in rubber membrane, and the water quality has deteriorated, increasing the risk and cost of water safety;IWM water tank is lined with PE hydrophobicity, which has no impact on water quality and meets the direct drinking water standard. Rubber membrane is designed and produced by IWM itself. It is a new rubber material without any recycled rubber, ensuring maximum size fit and water safety.

3. The water-filled structure of the rubber membrane needs to be disassembled at the tank bottom flange when replacing the rubber membrane. However, under normal circumstances, the tank is fixed on the ground, and it is very inconvenient to disassemble; when using IWM expansion tank, it is only necessary to disassemble and replace the rubber film directly at the top, and the construction personnel are very convenient to operate. 

4. In humid and corrosive environments, the service life of traditional carbon steel and stainless steel materials will be greatly reduced and shortened; the advantage of IWM is that the tank body and tank foot are made of non-metallic materials and can be used in corrosive environments.
